the rabbits of the night

it's been way too long since i last posted. and, um...i haven't had much to rant and or rave about. which is not to say that things have been aces, because that sure ain't true. my mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and although everyone's staying upbeat, it's kind of put a damper on things in general. what sucks the most is knowing my involvment in this is limited to supportive phone calls and big hugs. i don't know.....maybe this isn't the type of thing one posts about on a blog, but it just feels phony to come here and talk about how crappy mos def was in "the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" when there's some altogether rotten, and way too real shit going on at home. i will try to get back in the swing of it here though.......because mos def has got some shit coming his way....
