the rabbits of the night

man. i had kinda forgotten just how incredible that show was. i've had the dvd set for well over a year, but it always seemed to be on the proverbial and crowded "back burner". well we're flying through it now, and i'd say our lives are certainly better for it. what's more, i never did see all the episodes, so it's extra exciting for me. i've watched the homecoming dance sequence from the pilot at least 10 times in the last few weeks, and i'm throwing it out there as one of the most perfect scenes in television history....that look on sam's face when he realizes that yes, in fact he's going to have to dance fast with cindy....lindsay and eli dancing...."come sail away" blasting away...millie's freaked out hippie dance!!! such good stuff. between that and season two of "scrubs", there's a whole lot of quality tv-on-dvd lovin' to go around. anyway, here's to christmas lights, well-fed sleepy boatyard dogs, egg nog, and interesting book recommendations.
