the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked
go to vorpalfilm for all the lists of good movies, shows, and albums of 2004. but for my votes for the most craptastic crap of the year... look no further.
the craptastic movie of the year...."sky captain and the world of tomorrow". not even angelina jolie, equipped with a sweet jet pack and eye patch could save this pile of dung.
the craptastic band of the year (i'm thinking of renaming this "the john mayer award", or possibly, "the band that just won't fucking go away" award)... maroon 5...i try not to be a music jerk, and i really don't think i am at this point, but really.... i mean....maroon 5?
the craptastic tv show of the year...."father of the pride"...it wasn't funny, the animation was ugly, and i really hope somebody finds something good for john goodman to do, because he's not getting any healthier.
also, in keeping with the trend of naming tv shows in such literal, expository fashion ("las vegas", "hawaii", and my personal favorite, "medical investigation"), i'm renaming some of my favorites. "scrubs" will be "the funny doctor who daydreams", the simpsons will be "yellow cartoon people", rescue me will be "firefighters", or possibly "fireman", and deadwood will be "that western show".

I'd like to add "people/critics who said The Grudge was stupid/funny/bad" and "people who claimed they didn't think The Grudge crawl-back-your-mother's-womb terrifying"... Because that's just being dishonest.
